Directions to the PYC at Travis Marina

South on Highway 101

On HWY 101 south, pass through Waldo Tunnel at the top of the upgrade in Sausalito. Take the next exit, which also is the last exit before the Golden Gate Bridge. At the off-ramp stop sign, turn right following the road as it passes underneath HWY 101 until you come to another stop sign which is at Alexander Ave (unmarked street). Turn left here onto Alexander Avenue back towards Sausalito, but take the next immediate left. (If possible, look for and follow signs to the Bay Area Discovery Museum, the US Coast Guard, and/or Fort Baker.) You will see a tunnel with a traffic light that leads to the Marin Headlands—Don’t enter this tunnel. Make a right avoiding the tunnel and follow the right-hand hairpin curve to the road down the hill. At the next stop sign, you will see an open meadow area, which is the old parade grounds of Fort Baker. Turn right here and drive a short distance to the next stop sign where you will see the back of the Coast Guard station. Continue straight (bear right) keeping the Coast Guard station to your left. There shortly, turn left to pass between the Coast Guard station and the waterfront. Continue straight on this shore road about .10 miles to the large building by the marina. This is the Presidio Yacht Club. The entrance to the lounge is up the stairs on the far east side of the building.

North on Highway 101

Cross the Golden Gate Bridge keeping to the right lane. You will pass the Vista Point Overlook on the north end of the bridge, and then take the Alexander Avenue exit. After exiting, slow to take the second left. (If possible, look for and follow signs to the Bay Area Discovery Museum, the US Coast Guard, and/or Fort Baker.) You will see a tunnel with a traffic light that leads to the Marin Headlands—Don’t enter this tunnel.
